Budapest Road
To symbolize the relationship between the sister cities of Budapest and Ankara, on September 11, 2015, Budapest Mayor István Tarlós and Ankara Mayor Melih Gökçek officially opened Budapest Street in the Çukurambar neighborhood of Çankaya.
In return for this gesture, on May 2, 2016, a street near the Gül Baba Shrine in Budapest was named Ankara Street.
